This is an updated bio on BoBo.......Hi! My name is BoBo and I am a 3-4 year old, 15 pound, neutered Cockapoo. My potty training is going very well now and I am learning to enjoy the other doggies in my foster home as long as they are girls or neutered, very passive males who are about my size. I am people friendly and crate trained. I must have a fenced yard as I just love to run and play outside. My foster mom thinks in my past life I did not get any play time and am now making up for it.....it is so much fun to have the freedom to run and feel safe and well cared for. I am an energetic and busy fella outside but quiet in my crate and in the house. I would love a home with kids at least 10 years old and a family who will love me forever.

I am okay with the other doggies in my foster home but I really do like all the attention. I am very good in the house, love to go for walks and rides, and have a very happy and sweet disposition. People are my favorite and when someone new comes to visit, I know they came just for me which makes my tail wag and my heart sing. I would do well in a home with older kids and quiet dogs. My name is Demi and I am a 5 month old, 8 pound, Shih Tzu/Chihuahua baby girl who is all about running, playing, and kissing. My foster mom is helping me with my potty training and I crate well. I love the other pupsters so much that I could play zoom doggie all day long. In fact, it would be wonderful if my new home had another pup my age so we could play and run and do all the fun things that puppies do at this age. And oh, we need a fenced yard because I don't really care much for that whole leash thing. I love attention from humans and will be ready for my new family right after I get spayed. (Feb.26th.) Yippee.....I never have to have babies!! One more thing.....it might be a good idea if you took me to puppy obedience class so you can help me learn how to channel all this energy. I am just too cute and won't be here long, so if you are interested in loving me forever you'd better get your application in and SOON!!!!
My name is Abbie and I am a 3 year old, 12 pound spayed Shih Tzu. I am as sweet and loving as they come in spite of my background of being with a breeder for the beginning of my life. I am so happy now that I have been groomed and fixed and am being loved and cared for. I am good with other dogs, crate okay, and am working really hard on my potty training. When my foster mom says "Outside..??" I happily run to the door and go right out to take care of my business. A fenced yard would be a good idea to help me complete my training. I had a bladder stone removed in 2006 and will need to be on special food for the rest of my life. If you can afford to buy my food and are a stay at home parent and are looking for the love of your life, I am one special girl who will love you forever.
My name is Mookie and I am a 2 year old, 7 pound Maltese mix who will be neutered on March 7th. I have such a sad and tragic story to tell. I was brought to rescue lying in a urine soaked cage, depressed and underfed. I was so matted that my chin was stuck to my chest, I could not eat, and I could not even go potty because of my condition. It took hours to shave me and get rid of my smell and all the mess. But now I am a happy and grateful little guy who just wants someone to love and care for me the way I deserve. I need to gain weight and learn to be a companion, not a caged, unloved animal. I am afraid to be left alone outside but will go potty if you will go with me. If you have the patience, love, and commitment to help a sweet and loving boy like me I will be forever yours!

My name is Wiley and I am a 7 month old, 11 pound Bicheon/Schnauzer mix who will be neutered on March 5th. My foster mom says I am a very nice pup who is crate trained and good with the other dogs. I am playful and happy and am doing well with my potty training. I do need some good puppy training classes so I can learn basic commands. I am a sweet boy with tons of energy and would love a home with kids and a fenced yard.

My name is Guber and I am a one year old, neutered, tri-brindle colored little guy who really needs a special home. You see, my previous owners thought that holding me underwater would make me submit to being bathed and all it did was terrify me and make me a frightened little puppy. Of course I am now extremely fearful of grooming and bathing so my new family will need to commit to an arrangement with the vet to have some type of Rx previous to a visit to the groomer. I am a loving and sweet boy who is crate trained, playful, and who loves attention. Because of my past and my fear of things, I will not be placed in a home with children. My foster mom tells me that someone will come along who will love me and always be kind and compassionate......I can't wait for that!! UPDATE: We will be accepting applications on Guber but will wait for a while to place him. His foster mom has discovered other issues he has, probably due to his abuse, and will work with him on those. Also, Guber finds a lot of security with other dogs so he will only be placed in a home where he can have another canine companion.

I do need some help with my potty training but my foster mom thinks neutering will help with that issue. I am very sweet but truly shy and scared when first meeting people. I prefer to lay in a crate with the door open where I feel safe. I am a wonderful little dog who just needs someone who is willing to help me get over my shyness and fear.

My name is Cody and I am a five year old, 26 pound, neutered Lhasa Apso. I am a very good boy who was found as a stray and am now happy to be in rescue where I am getting attention and love. I am scared of all the dogs in my foster home and need to be in a home where I am the one and only. My foster mom says it appears I have had some training and have good doggie manners. I do need to drop about 6 pounds so I can be healthy and happy for a long time. I was a very good boy for the groomer and am doing well with my potty habits. I do need a fenced yard or a tie out so I will not stray again. A quiet senior home would make me very happy.

My name is Casey and I am a one year old, neutered, VERY active Sheltie. I have had very good potty manners and am really good with dogs and people in my foster home. I am okay in an open wire type crate but very fearful in the plastic enclosed ones. I am a barker when there is lots of activity happening around me but I do quiet down when outside playing with the other doggies. I play very gently with my baby and small foster brothers and sisters. My foster mom says I am a pretty boy who could use a class to learn basic commands and good poochie behavior. My leash training is going well but because I LOVE to run and play outside, a fenced yard will be a requirement for my new family.

Hello Everyone......My beautiful and fun loving sisters and I are all looking for our new family where we will be loved and taken care of for the rest of our lives. We need a home where we will be part of a family and will live in the house just like all the other family members. We have been wormed, treated for fleas, and have had our first puppy shots. Our mom was probably a Collie mix and we have no clue about our daddy. We love to be held and cuddled and fussed over. We are a little shy at first but warm up very quickly and then give tons of puppy kisses. We are about four months old and are ready for our next big adventure!!

My name is Pansy and I was born on Jan. 26th and weigh about five pounds right now. My two brothers look like Retriever mixes but nobody at our rescue knows what our mom or dad were, so it is anybody's guess as to what we really are. My sister Sassy and I are looking for our homes where we will be loved and cared for forever. I am the quiet one of the bunch and am content with a chewy toy, watching the world go by. Sissy and I both have short stubbly legs which will make you smile when you watch us run and play. My foster mom says I am just as sweet as can be and will make a wonderful new family addition

Toad is a two year old, nine pound, neutered Shih Tzu mix. We have placed over 1250 dogs in the last 5 years and Toad is the worse case of neglect we have ever seen. He was strip shaved by a vet and treated for a big open wound on his bottom where feces had been stuck in matted hair for months. With loving and special care by our foster mom, he has made a wonderful recovery physically. He is slowing learning to trust but is very shy and scared. He really needs a gentle, kind, patient, loving, and quiet person who will commit themselves to his care and help him become the dog he wants to be. He will potty outside but needs to always be taken out as he is too fearful to be left out by himselt. He needs a new mom or dad who will cuddle with him and let him sleep right next to them so he will always feel safe and secure. This sweet little guy will also need a fenced yard as he is terrified of having a leash on him.

My name is Buttons and I am a three year old, 14 pound, neutered Pom. I lived with an older woman and will only be placed in a home with kids at least 12 years old. I am crate trained, walk well on a leash, and love to go "bye bye". My new home will need a secure fenced yard as I am a door bolter and will also sneak out under a fence if there is a way to do that. I do not look like a normal Pom because of my size, but I am still a good boy and need a loving forever home.

Hello.....my name is Tito and I am a five year old, 6-7 pound Chihuahua. I am being neutered so my marking issues should be resolved soon. I do take correction well when I get a little squirt of water in the face for trying to mark. I am such a sweet boy and love to give kisses and sit on your lap. And yes.....please.....I do need (want) to sleep with you. My foster mom says it is so cute to watch me put up my little front paws and wave them up and down as I am begging for a treat. Speaking of treats......I guess I've had too many because I need to drop a pound or two. My foster mom calls me a "Love" and says I would make a wonderful family pet because I love all people, animlas, and even kids. Going "bye-bye" in the car is really fun, too. I am a bit of a runner so a fenced yard would be a good idea.

I'm Yoda.....the boy with the hair style that everyone is talking about! Everyone smiles and laughs and talks when they see me and I think it is because they are asking who my stylist is!! Anyway, I am an 18 month old, 5 pound, neutered Pom/Chihuahua mix who is very shy and sweet, likes the other dogs, and is doing well with my potty habits. I like to sit by you but am a little fearful of being picked up. I love to run all over the fenced yard so will need one in my new home. Also, I am somewhat hesitant on a leash but may learn to walk with one once I can trust you. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. I am a quiet, fragile little guy who will need a home with children over the age of 8.
